You catch me by surprise each and every time.
You and Your ways.
I thought I had stopped thinking about You.
I feared that thought alone.
You weren’t in the books I read.
They weren’t even about You.
Then Lincoln said this:
I broke down.
“Thank You” and tears were my only prayers.
There is never a moment that You don’t recognize me.
